Dr. Thomas Parell (also known to his clients as “Doc Tom”) established his first of four successful veterinary practices in 1993. After nearly 20 years in the Bitteroot Valley, he saw a need for additional, local veterinary care and, together with his wife, opened our Darby location in 2019 with plans to serve the community from small to large animals.
As young kids, Doc Tom's five children were at the core of his practices - always learning and helping take care of animals and clients. Now, as adults and professionals, they are all formally and proudly part of the family business with two working as veterinarians (Dr. Samuel Parell and Dr. Cecily Kreslins) and all contributing to the management and care of the practice mission and vision.
